We needed to create a logo that represented innovation, an evolving product range and ultimately ‘working together to achieve more’. The circles from the device were then also echoed within the new photo library, each image conceptually representing Medco’s values that we had defined in the workshop. It resulted in a cohesive, fresh and warmer approach to a new medical brand that I’m happy to say the client was chuffed to bits with.

About Medco

Medco is a newly established business in the UK operating under license to sell products on behalf of Swedish medical product manufacturer, Wing Plast – a family-owned manufacturer of high-quality medical equipment (primarily disposable instruments in moulded plastic), with a proud heritage of over 55 years. As a new, challenger brand but with huge expertise in the design and manufacture of their products, this is an awesome combination with which to go to market.

How we helped

Whilst we love a blank sheet of paper, in such a specialist market the need we had to really get under the skin of the strategy in order to get the positioning absolutely pitch perfect (as it should be). We workshopped with the founding directors, looking at competitors, the client groups and establishing the vision and mission for the business. We then developed a tone of voice guideline, brand mood-board, website and complementary collateral. In its first year Medco has gone above and beyond expectations and continues to thrive.
